To finish up the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, it’s time for the Hanging Gardens of Babylon (https://youtu.be/QAWk1GvrZfc) to be axed to make room for a Wonder that is contemporary to them all and has the benefit of being accessible still: The Great Wall of China.

Starting with the work from Shi huangdi, to the work done by Liu Xiu, to finally, the work being finished in the Ming Dynasty, this wonder has captured time and the imagination of those brave enough to travel the Silk Road.
